BriarClan.

BriarClan lives on the south side of the Pond. They have thick, dense forests. The floors are covered in heavy, gnarled roots that have tough and sturdy trunks. The bark is impenetrable, and often dark. The earth is hard pack, usually covered in a layer of needles, branches, and rotting leaves. The sky is usually only seen from the camp or outside of the territory. Very little light shines through the branches, but when it does, it is often very beautiful. BriarClan sees the least impact during storms. Trees do fall in the territory quite often, however.

Prey Source.

BriarClan is a mainly forest-dwelling clan. Heavy wooded forests, dense earth, and few steams result in birds of prey, rodents, and small creatures as a main food source. Foods range anywhere from mice, mole, shrew, rat, and other forest-living mammals, to birds like finches, woodpeckers, cardinals, sparrows, raven, crow, etc. Prey is usually well-fed, but during winter-moths, it is thin and scare.


General Appearance.

BriarClan cats are very stocky. They usually have short, strong legs best used for climbing and stalking. They will most commonly have short, sleek fur that is coarse and weather-shielded. They have generally compact paws, with short, sharp claws for digging. Tough paw pads are used for traction while climbing. Tails are usually medium in length, with round tips. Ears are short and rounded, with small tufts of hair peeking out. They have very kind expressions, however they are also very intimidating. Fur colors are often dark, with tabby or lynx markings. They often have gorgeous olive, gold, orange, brown, navy, or yellow eyes. BriarClan warriors have a good amount of fighting muscle. They are skilled hunters and fighters, and often have low stamina, but great strength. They are strong, well-built, and accurate hunter/fighters.


General Personality.

Cats of BriarClan are very intimidating, strong, and bold. They are quick to act and are very adventurous and curious in manner. They take clan duty quite seriously, and will fight to the death to protect their clan. They are loyal, tough warriors, and often produce amazing fighters and climbers. They are a proud, noble, chivalrous clan that value strength, leadership, and humble attitude. They do not brag, and are often last to ask for help in time of need. They stick to the Warrior Code and try to keep blood-lines pure. They do not often accept kitty-pets, and frown upon letting them into the clan. They are a kind clan, however, and are willing to rescue those who are in danger.
