  • Refrain from changing the size and color of your posts in the Role-playing section. You can, however, use italics, bold, underlining, striking, and hyper-linking to make the role-play more interesting. However, do not abuse these privileges. Your signature can be colored, but make sure nothing in your posts are.(Exception in links)

  • I understand that some people may be new to role-playing when they start here, but that is no excuse to post one-liners and illiterate posts. This is an all-level role-playing site, but none of the above mentioned items are allowed. (Exception with writer's block, but this excuse cannot be over-used)

  • Understand that what happens between characters is not to be taken out of character. If your character's get into a fight and one becomes severely injured, do NOT bring it into OOC. They did not inflict this on you, their character did so to yours. Let your character deal with it and let them sort it out.

  • Please be realistic. No character can be absolutely perfect with no flaws. Everyone is different, with flaws and weaknesses and strengths. Recognize that and transfer those things into your character. Make sure these things are vague, but still present and sort of obvious in your role-playing. Recognize the limits a human can make, and don't try to knock them down.

  • Please, do not god mode. This means, you cannot tell what someone else's character looks like, feels, sees, hears, smells, thinks or says. This is ridiculously rude and quite-frankly, annoying. With permission from the person who runs the character, if they will be away, you can god-mode to get out of a situation and move on to another situation.

  • Another thing: Do not meta game. If you do not know what this is, then please listen, because it is far more annoying and rude that god modding.
Meta modding is when you bring outside knowledge into the roleplay and spread it around. Basically, any information you know -- be it from reading other topics or forums, personally knowledge, plotting or whatever -- should not be passed into your character. They are not you, therefore they do not know what you know.
